Dr. Naimah Shuayb built Medication and Herbal Pharmacy Consulting Inc. on a conviction she lived first: the counter is crossable.

℞ DR. NAIMAH SHUAYB, PharmD · FOUNDER

Dr. Shuayb began in the pharmacy field more than twenty years ago — as a pharmacy technician. In 2004 she became certified to improve her pay and strengthen her career, and the credential did exactly that: by 2005 she was accepted to the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy, and in 2009 she earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy.

Today she is a proud member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and has held clinical certifications in anticoagulation management, immunization, diabetes, and HIV. Through MHPC, she trains the next generation of pharmacy technicians on the same path she took herself.
